a boy and his elmo

tristan was very busy today pushing his elmo around in the stroller we got as a hand me down from his cousin johnny. i gave him a bowl of snacks as he wandered and, as i left the kitchen, found elmo just like like this. apparently my son is good at sharing.

sharing is crucial. Glad he's learning at a good age. Perhaps soon he'll learn to share your lipstick, tampons and other such wonderful things. Imagine the possibilities of what those can do!

Heidi, i didnt know you had a blog till today. I read your frugal friday post, and i am right there with you. Thad has plentiful work, (as a teacher) but it is just hard to make ends meet. I also feel like i am so frugal, and were struggling with the decision if I should start working just 2 days a week as a sub, or soemthing. But i really appreciate your honesty in that post. I know we need to just trust God, but its so hard. I just want to take matters into my own hands! how do you do it when you think long term? about having more kids, buying a home, etc?? I just feel, if we can barely make it now, how about then? Im sorry if Im being to personal...I just felt we were feeling the same thing!

Anyway, while you research that for me, I'll let you know that Calvin walked up behind me while I was reading your post and said, "oh, I miss my elmo.".... He's 12, should I be worried? :o)
