yes, i did! yesterday i worked up at the julian library and got a call on my cell phone from the store manager, who offered me the job! so i start on monday. i am greatly relieved and happy, especially since i'm done with the business of quitting my loan job. i don't like making people upset at me, so was worried about my boss' reaction, but he was SO understanding and nice about the whole thing. so this morning, i feel as light as a feather.
i was also quite pumped about Sneaky Readers of my Blog who commented! brave souls, they are. since one of the Abarba-Pirates named katelyn commented, i now feel at liberty to post the link to the Abarbablog, where, if you visit, you will find yourself extremely entertained. i am especially a fan of sarah's stories. sorry, denise, i'm not as brave as beah and katelyn. i would be very sad if my religious reading of a certain blog had to be terminated, due to the wrath of the author. however, you are welcome to guess, and if you get it right, i'll tell you so.
i will enjoy my last weekend without work, as i will soon be thrown into the life of a full-time working woman again. tomorrow, if it doesn't rain, josh is going to take me on a hike to "The Punchbowl", a place i've never been. neither of us are really the hiking types, so i foresee a lot of snacking stops along the way. will be fun!

Congratulations Heidi on the job. Now you can begin training your manager - He called Lando so Lando learned he is quite new to the bookstore industry (but has buisness experience elsewhere). We are very curious about what kind of test he gave you. Do you
