happy Christmas Eve, everyone! josh and i are actually housesitting over christmas, and we don't have a computer over there, so i am home for a bit to get some last minute things and thought i'd pop in a blog so you don't all think that i was run over by a reindeer.
of course i work today, and am dreading it immensly since last minute shoppers are NOT happy shoppers and every day closer to christmas they seem to get grumpier and grumpier. for the last time i am SORRY that YOU forgot your coupons at home, but that's NOT MY FAULT! seriously, people.
okay, that's out of my system. today josh is golfing for the second day in a row. he won yesterday's golf game because he is such a stud. he feels sorry for me dealing with mean people, so he has promised me a roaring fire in the fireplace when i come home tonight, complete with hot chocolate and "it's a wonderful life". i'm trying not to count down the hours. tomorrow i am sure we'll be up at 5 or 6 like last year, too excited to sleep any longer. josh has been asking EVERY day if he can open "just one present?" finally tomorrow i won't have to hear that question any more! after we've opened all of our gifts, it's off to temecula to rob & jessica's house where the stewarts are meeting this year for christmas. we're going to have a big fat breakfast with josh's mom's creme brulee french toast as the crowning masterpiece. after that it's presents and snacking and then we're coming back to ramona for dinner at josh's folks' house with friends. it will be lovely.
and i really must stop dreading working the after christmas sale on the 26th.
may God's richest blessings be yours this Christmas.

Merry Christmas Heidi and Josh! Enjoy your reward at the end of your - I hope it will be better than you think - day.
Bless you,
Kathy
Heidi, I feel your dread. Donnie works at walmart and this is the time of year he turns into a crabpot. He wore his "grinch" tie today. :O) Hope things go smoothly for you!
How funny, I ALWAYS forget my coupons! I don't argue and I'm not mean but I always hope some nice employee will just give me break, but I can never find one. I hope you guys had a nice Christmas. Ours was perfect but I did feel bad that I didn't call one person to wish them Merry Christmas. I was caught up in the day with my family. I hope today wasn't too bad for you.
Merry-Day-After-Christmas! Guess what? I always make Creme Brulee French Toast for Christmas breakfast too! Yummy...it's my fav! Hope you all had a very blessed day! We surely did.
