Oh boy, that made me laugh too! I feel your pain :O) Is there some crazy blooming cycle where it takes like 10 years before it becomes pretty?

yeah, we were told that it could take a few years, and that many people think that they're just dead and toss them. i think my pretty planter adds to the humour...i bought it in anticipation of what's to come, obviously!

good luck with the flower..i have a 4 year old Joshua tree that looks nothing like I expected it to! It's awesome...
