i'm thinking of quitting...

...this whole blogging thing. it has been frustrating me lately. first off, i still can't post pictures and cannot, for the life of me locate my browser cash/creche/crochet thing that i'm supposed to clear. not only that, but i am, for some reason, unable to read anyone's comments anymore. the pop up window comes up when i click on comments, but nothing shows in the box. i just waited 10 whole minutes for jennifer's comments to come up, but they never did. which also means that i am unable to comment on anyone's blog. reading just the post and not the comments feels to me as if i'm the loner girl who is left out while all of the cool kids sit in the corner and chat. because of all of this comment messsing up, i was unable to defend myself by commenting that i really DID NOT forget my best friend's birthday, i only forgot to call her on the day it actually was. i had sent her a card and a gift and everything, so there. i would have also like to let my sister in law cara know how much i appreciated her posting like a gazillion pictures, every one of which made my heart smile. and to let zandra know that even though i feel for her, her post made me laugh hysterically. and to say congrats to my cousins kristy and jeff that they're having another baby....and i could go on and on.

not to mention that i haven't had an ounce of creative-writing inspiration since getting knocked up. and no, i'm not writing all of this in a pouty voice, i'm just letting you all know why i don't blog or comment anymore. just in case you wondered.

clearing your cache and cookies is something I can help you with.
when you open internet explorer, click on tools. Once you get there, click on internet options. Click on delete cookeies, and then once thats finished, click on delete files right beside it. Make sure to put the check mark beside Delete all offline content. Once its done, click on apply and then ok. Try then restarting your computer. Hopefully that helps (unless you know all this already).

Yup, I was having problems too, but that helped me...deleting the temporary files and then restarting. But how will you know this if you can't check your comments I wonder? Maybe I'll have to talk to you in person...oh, what a wonderful excuse! And thanks for your roundabout comment! Please don't quit...we all love you much to dearly!

I actually was wondering where you had gotten to. I can feel the frustration and sympathize with you.

Use Firefox. It kicks butt on ie. You can make use of the rss feeds on everyone's blog... meaning you can have the blogs up on your toolbar, and just scroll over them (without having to actually go to every single blog) to see if there is anything new posted. Seriously. It's free, it's better, and it's not microsoft.

I can help you any way I can... what would we do without your blog?

Blogger was having some issues with commenting since they are moving to beta, but it looks like they have them largely ironed out.

Please please please don't quit... we need to hear all the details about your new life with Tristan. :)

It's acceptable to be otherwise preoccupied whilst knocked up. Also RW did defend you that you sent a card and gift...I know you know I was only funin.
But your frustrations with the pc...I am so dependant on M for fixing things and teaching me stuff.
And you are like one of the original bloggers you can't stop now....you can have a lapse if it'll take the pressure off for a while. Think of where I'd be without this connection. Lost.

Yes, CLEAR YOUR CACHE! It will make all your problems go away. I promise. If Miranda's directions don't work for you, you can always google it and get directions that way. ie" google: cache internet explorer. You can do it!

Don't give up on us. Don't say goodbye.

I'm pretty sure she is reading these comments for two reasons:
1. she gets her comments emailed to her
2. I copy and pasted all these comments and emailed them to her just in case.

Heidi - Your posts are SO worth waiting for. Sometime the blog issues will get ironed out and you will be back at the table with the cool kids. Please keep on writing for us - I love it.

Oh and Sarah loved your color sticker book especially and she was good at matching the shapes with very little help. Smart girl that little Sarah Mae. But she did think the dog in the Harriet book was a cat. HA - I think it was a fluffier dog than she is used to :)

Blessings on you -
Kathy
