hey, we're home! we actually got home yesterday, but this is the first chance i've had to sit down and blog a teensy bit, though josh and i went through all of your comments this morning...made us feel like super stars with so many congratulations! anyhow, i will share the whole birthing story another time. for now, here is a picture of our suave looking son, fresh from a sponge bath with daddy-combed hair. we are so proud of him & can't get enough of just gazing at him. yes, there is a lot to get used to, but we're up for the challenge and loving it. thanks for all of your words of encouragement. like i said, will blog more soon.

Wow, we can't get over how mature looking his face is...he looks like he's a month or two old already! Aren't babies amazing!
I wanted to say what a good boy with eyes open and everything!
enjoy.
Sleep now, blog later. Gaze...forever.:)
he is so sweet Heidi.
what a handsome little man, and I agree with Meredith!
He's just beautiful, and has a fine head of hair! Glad you're home and all is well.

So neat to see his cute little eyes open. Enjoy!!
Tristan looks so handsome,so...Canadian.
What a relief.
I was afraid he'd look like Fabio/Joshu-o, you know, long blond hair, a 1980's forever SoCal dude.
Whew. PTL.
Just a shout out to say what a good looking little man! Way to go Heidi! Seriously though, congradulations and bless all three of you. We look forward to meeting Tristan in person- especially Jake who has a brand new buddy. Love, Quinn, Marcella and Jake.
Congrats to you and your husband, Heidi! You have such a handsome little boy. Parenting is still such an adventure for us. Enjoy every little minute. They really do grow up to fast!
Congratulations Josh and Heidi. Yes, you guys rest and worry about yourselves in these weeks. Only write when you can, sleep at every opportunity and know that we're all so excited to meet Tristan. Sounds as though you may have had long days leading up to labour but a relatively fast labour and delivery. Well done mommy!
I think he looks very smart. I like his lips and manly nose. He is lovely. I hope you three are getting bits of rest here and there. What an adventure you are on. Looking forward to hearing more about how Tristan came into the world -- but remembering 7 months ago when my littles ones were born I am reminded that blogging was not the first priority. I'll be patient.
congratulations!
Aimee (for Lance too)
