it's supposed to rain today!! i can't tell you how happy that makes me. my feet are SO ready to see some socks. also, i'm pretty sure that i get a free cell phone upgrade from the verizon store today, so that is also making me happy.
josh is leaving me to attend our church's annual men's retreat, just as i left him last saturday to go to the women's retreat. he's not staying overnight or anything since its a camping trip and we all know what happens to those campers who ignore the weather forecast. in order not to have a lonesome saturday, my friend laura is coming down from orange county for a visit. we're hoping to visit the wild animal park with tristan, but that all depends on the current status of tristan's snotty nose. he's coming down with a cold and i've no idea how bad it will be today. he did wake up twice last night, once at 3:30 and then again at 4:30. i haven't slept since the first wakeup, so instead of tossing and turning in bed trying to get comfortable and to stop wondering whether aimee had a baby boy or a girl last night, i decided to get some bloggage done. obviously, there isn't much interesting going on in our lives right now, but i'll keep typing away in hopes that one of these sentences might entertain you.
ah yes, the wild animal park...and i was about to tell you how much tristan loves that place, but i hear him crying in his crib, so i must end here.
