i hope some things never change

i know that he's growing up and that he will continue to do so whether or not i want it to happen. but if i could choose one thing to keep the way it is, i hope he pronounces the word "helicopter" this way for a long, long time.

You should talk to Jon and set up a time to take him to see Garrett's 'Papa's Hoppers'. He would love them.

They do change but I find I keep them alive by saying these things myself.

I've said this same thing about some of the words my kids say...it is sooo cute! Wade said it wouldn't look to good when they went in for an interview and still pronounced words like a little kids.=)

Our kids are grown and sometimes we still say a word or phrase the way one of the kids said it ... jsut for fun. My hubby is good at that.
I love how you video. Do you just have the camera sit there so he's not aware of it?

It's so sweet - his little boy words. Elijah said "hopticopter" and Lance invented a living room dance called the hopticopter.

That is SO sweet! One in Bran's family used to call it "hocadoctor" so they all still call it that when we're all together.

ethan's word in spaghetti. He calls it speggi. I keep meaning to tape it.
Your video made me reach out and hug Ethan. They grow up so fast.
