i thought that the cookie giveaway i did a couple of months ago was kind of fun, so i thought i'd do another one. i'm really excited about this giveaway because these products are amazing! i received some MEG Original items at samuel's baby shower and they are truly of the best quality.
my friend connie delivered her 3rd baby girl early, at 32 weeks. while in the NICU, connie and her husband were told by the doctor to use only a cloth changing pad with their little 3 pound preemie, since the vinyl ones can harbor a lot of germs. when their search for a cloth changing pad came up fruitless, they decided to design one. another mom whose baby was also in the NICU saw their design, asked to purchase one for her child, and that is how MEG Original began.
MEG Original still sells cloth changing pads, but now they also offer a variety of gorgeous hand made items such as bibs, burp cloths, diaper clutches, security blankets and minky blankets. samuel sleeps with his blue and red minky blanket nearly every night, holding onto it as if for dear life. it is incredibly soft, yet light weight and, though i've washed it over 100 times it looks just as perfect as when it was brand new.
the bibs however, are my favorite. seriously, i tell everyone about these bibs! samuel's has little retro cowboys on his which is, of course, completely adorable. they are lined with a cozy chenille backing and are super absorbant, but the best part about these bibs is that they fasten in the back with a sturdy bronze snap. none of those flimsy baby snaps that are easy for the baby to tear apart, or (even worse) that awful velcro that not only attaches itself to everything in your laundry, but also begins to lose its hold after awhile causing the poor bib to be thrown onto the floor between every bite.

difficult choice to narrow down to one favorite, but I'd go with #307 Blue Lolli Dot Blanket as my top choice.

I would have to agree with Kari about the lavender minky blanket...We had Coranelle at our house Friday night. She seems to finally have a favorite blanket...I did go to the MEG site and liked it..on Facebook... Thanks for posting all this...
I like all of it, very cute and very soft looking products. I think though that I would have to say my favorite is the changing pad. I always think the ones that come with diaper bags seem like they dont get all the germs off even after wiping them down. Hence when I change a diaper at the store I just do it on my lap.
